Flexible Web Development Support

What we need
  • Ongoing web development support for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: website maintenance, updates or improvements
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We've had a reoccurring problem where all our emails being sent from our Google Workspace Gmail accounts end up in people's spam folders, including each other's. We need a developer to assist us in setting up proper spam filters/DKIM authentication.

I've tried researching authentication processes on my own, but I have no real developer experience and have no clue how to do it myself.

What we have in place
  • Our Manager of Communications, Hannah Pewee ([email protected]), has limited technology experience and is able to provide all login information for Google Workspace.
How this will help
This project will save us $3,757 , allowing us to resume our operations without worrying that our key communications aren't being heard and received.

We are unable to send emails with confidence because they so often end up in people's spam folders. This creates so many logistical problems and makes it harder for us to function as an organization.

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks
