What we need
  • Ongoing technological advisory for 10-15 hours over the course of 4 weeks
  • Support may include: tools set up and implementation, systems auditing, process updates
  • Note: We devised this project to connect nonprofits and volunteers for more flexible, more immediate impact. We strongly suggest you start with 4 weeks and decide from there if you'd like to continue working.
Additional details

We need to set up a system to send information from our website (sales and email subscribers) to our email marketing program. I'm looking into Zapier and Webhooks to do this. I would love for someone to help me with this. We use Squarespace for our website and Activecampaign for email marketing.

What we have in place
  • We currently have requirements for what we want to do, which should make it easy for you to get started. We also have the specific task needed to be completed, and the ability to provide any other information you need.
How this will help
This project will save us $2,355 , allowing us to spend more time reaching out to new audience members and promoting our filmmakers.

This project is important and it will cut down on manual labor and therefore allow us to spend more time focusing on projects that help our community.

  • Volunteer and Volunteer Manager align on the scope of ongoing support that the Volunteer will provide to address this need

Step 1: Ongoing Support
  • Volunteer delivers ongoing support according to determined outline
  • Weekly check-ins to ensure support is being offered as agreed upon by both parties

Step 2: Training & Offboarding
  • Volunteer provides any relevant training to the Volunteer Manager to help them continue work, as necessary, after 4 weeks

Chicago Filmmakers is a not-for-profit media arts organization that fosters the creation, appreciation, and understanding of film and video as media for artistic and personal expression, as well as media of important social and community impact. Chicago Filmmakers' twofold mission is to serve independent film and digital video artists by supporting the creation and dissemination of new media arts works and to serve Chicago audiences by screening artistically innovative, socially relevant, and diverse films and videos.
